The Zhongar-Alatau Natural Park, to which the DWC travel company invites you, stretches across the majestic slopes of the Jetysu Alatau Range in the Almaty Region of Kazakhstan. Here, on an area of more than 356 hectares, you can enjoy incomparable natural beauty. This park has a particularly mild climate, making it an ideal refuge for many rare species of animals listed in the Red Book of Kazakhstan.
The Zhongar-Alatau Natural Park is a place where you can truly encounter Kazakhstani nature, get closer to it, and enjoy mesmerizing panoramic views. The park includes three branches: Sarkand, Alakol, and Lepsin, each with its own unique natural features.
Here, within the territory of the natural park, there are 13 tourist routes, including the “Ethnographic Tour,” which will introduce you to the historical sites of Zhongar-Alatau, “Lake Zhasylkol,” the “Scientific and Educational Tour,” where you will learn about the natural wild apple orchards of Sivers, as well as the “Forest Nursery,” and much more.
