Explore Kyrgyzstan, known as the land of mountain passes, and embark on incredible adventures with the DWC travel company.
Your journey may take you through numerous mountain passes, each of which will astonish you with its unique atmosphere. On some, you can touch the sky or reach out to the glacier and feel the chill of the Arctic tundra.
One of such impressive passes is the “33 Parrots.” Its name comes from the number of turns on the serpentine road, which seem so numerous that you can indeed count them as if there were more than 33. But it’s these twists and turns that make the journey through this pass so thrilling.
Before beginning the ascent to Lake Son-Kul, you will encounter a mighty waterfall – also named “33 Parrots.” Located just 10 kilometers from the exit of the lake, on the Son-Kyol River. The height of the waterfall is about 25-30 meters, and its position at an altitude of 2600 meters above sea level makes this place even more impressive to explore.
