The tourist company “DWC” invites you on a remarkable journey to one of the most important Muslim holy sites – the memorial complex of Khwaja Baha-ud-Din Naqshband, the founder of the Naqshbandi Sufi order.
This great theologian of the 14th century is buried in the village of Kasri Orifon, just 12 kilometers from Bukhara. Interestingly, the current mausoleum of Naqshband was previously a pagan temple, adding special historical significance to this place.
The mausoleum of Saint Baha-ud-Din Naqshband is considered a holy place and the Central Asian Mecca. Pilgrims from different Muslim countries come here to pray for their wishes to be fulfilled and seek forgiveness for their sins. According to local tradition, three pilgrimages on foot from Bukhara to the mausoleum are equal to one Hajj.
“DWC” offers jeep rentals in Bishkek so that you can embark on this journey comfortably and carefree, enjoying the unique atmosphere and spiritual experiences that await you at this important shrine.
