The tourist company DWC invites you to an exciting journey to the historical city of Samarkand! With jeep rental in Bishkek, you can conveniently reach the main square of the city — Registan, which since 1660 has acquired its present appearance thanks to the final architectural masterpiece — the Tilya-Kori Madrasah.

The Tilya-Kori Madrasah was built in a square shape and occupied all the space between the Ulugh Beg and Sher-Dor madrasahs. Its facade facing Registan Square impresses with its symmetry and sophistication. A tall portal and arched niches running along two floors are topped with corner towers. The inner courtyard of the madrasah served as a place for hudjr — cells where students lived.

Ornamental floral patterns and linear decorations adorn the entire building of the madrasah, although many of them were lost over time. Nevertheless, the efforts of restorers in the second half of the 20th century allowed the restoration of much of the original finish. The importance and beauty of the Tilya-Kori Madrasah were recognized by the international community, and in 2001, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Our company can organize jeep tours to the most interesting places in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
