Lake Teskey-Kul is located high in the mountains, on the southern side of the Terskey-Ala-Too range in the Issyk-Kul region. Getting there is quite challenging, but if you have the desire, it should be done with a guide. Part of the trail runs above the lake and in some places, it descends into the river.
The body of water is divided into two parts due to the difference in altitude and is connected by a waterfall. The water in the lake has a milky hue – transparency is absent due to the high content of various impurities. The lake has an underground drainage, and the river emerges directly from under the ground just below the lake.
The area around the lake is picturesque, offering views of glaciers that do not melt even during the summer period.
Our company can organize jeep tours to the most interesting places in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
