This magnificent palace was built between 1912 and 1918 by order of the last emir of Bukhara, Mir Said Alimkhan, and it stands as a remarkable example of architectural mastery of that time.

The construction of the palace involved eminent Bukharian craftsmen and two Russian engineers – Margulis and Sakovich. Particularly impressive is the White Hall, created under the guidance of the renowned master ustā Shirin Muradov. The walls of this hall are adorned with unique ganch, which was laid over mirrors. In Sitorai-Mokhi-Khosa, you can also see various mirrors, including Venetian and Japanese, enclosed in beautiful frames.
