The tourist company “DWC” is delighted to offer you an exhilarating journey to the ancient city of Bukhara, where you will have the opportunity to see one of the most significant historical landmarks – the Mausoleum of the Samanids. This unique mausoleum serves as the tomb of rulers from the Eastern dynasty and is considered one of the oldest monuments in the city.
The Mausoleum of the Samanids is located in the northwest part of Bukhara, surrounded by a picturesque park with ponds and attractions. Inside the mausoleum, there are three burials of rulers that have survived to this day, preserving the memory of ancient times.
This unique mausoleum was built at the turn of the 9th-10th centuries during the rule of the prominent ruler Ismail Samani, who managed to achieve independence from Baghdad. The location for the mausoleum was carefully chosen within a cemetery, and the first stone was laid at its foundation in 892 AD.
Traveling with the tourist company “DWC” and renting jeeps in Bishkek, you will immerse yourself in the amazing atmosphere of ancient Bukhara, where every stone and every corner is filled with history and mysteries of the past.
