“Ratsek Hut” is a familiar name for all who love mountaineering and have ever visited the Ala-Archa Gorge. Initially, Ratsek Hut was a small stone cottage where one could rest along the way.

Today, it serves as a base camp with all the necessary amenities on the way to the Ak-Sai glacier. Here, you can pitch a tent, and from here, routes to mountain peaks begin, and training sessions are held. It is a popular place that brings together climbers from different countries.
