Tour company DWC invites you to thrilling jeep tours from Bishkek, where you can embark on an exciting journey into the world of railway technology presented at the Tashkent Railway Museum.

The Tashkent Railway Museum was opened on August 4, 1989, in honor of an important date – the 100th anniversary of the Central Asian Railway, celebrated as Railway Worker’s Day.

Among the treasures of the museum is one of the oldest exhibits, the OV (Ovechka) steam locomotive from 1914, which is even immortalized on a postage stamp of Uzbekistan from 1999 and famous for its appearances in movies, including “Elusive Avengers”. This locomotive reached an impressive speed of up to 55 km/h.

In the museum’s exposition, you can also see the most powerful steam locomotive – the P36 (Pobeda), with a power of 3000 horsepower, which was one of the last passenger locomotives produced in the USSR.

Join our jeep tours and immerse yourself in the world of railway adventures in Tashkent!
