Mount Pyramid is the highest point of the Turkestan Range, with an altitude exceeding 5500 meters. It is a favorite peak among many mountaineers.
During the Soviet era, this place often hosted mountaineering competitions of all-Union significance. At present, there are more than a dozen routes of varying difficulty.
One can reach the summit through the Karavshin Gorge. Mount Pyramid earned its name for its pyramid-like shape, reminiscent of the Egyptian pyramids, topped with a snowy cap.
