Mountain Aygul-Tash is located near the village of Kara-Bulak in the Batken region. This is a unique place, with steep rocky slopes – only here you can admire the Edelweiss flower Aygul-Tash. It is a very beautiful and mysterious flower, with petals of fiery-orange color.

There is a legend that the beautiful girl Aygul threw herself off the cliff, unable to bear the loss of her bridegroom. Aygul blooms only 2 weeks a year, in early April. Seeing it is a great luck. Now a state reserve has been established here, and the flower itself is listed as a rare species.
