The mausoleum erected over the tomb of Arystanbab, a renowned teacher and propagator of Islam among the residents of Turkestan, Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, is a precious cultural heritage of Kazakhstan. From this moment, the history of this mausoleum became a journey through time and space.

The mausoleum consists of several separate rooms, including a corridor, a mosque, a library, and a minaret, which is called a tower. The oldest part of the mausoleum is the tomb, and the first sign on it appeared around the 12th century. In 1909, according to the Friesian inscriptions, the mausoleum was completely restored.

Today, this mausoleum is considered one of the sacred places for Muslim pilgrimage in Central Asia.

Currently, the mausoleum consists of two parts: a mosque and a tomb, connected by a corridor with a curved vault. Inside the mausoleum, there is a large tombstone of Arystanbab, as well as tombstones of his followers and students, such as Lashyn-Baba, Khermet-Azyra, and Karga-Baba.
The DWC travel company is ready to organize a trip to this historically and spiritually significant place for all those who want to learn about its rich history and cultural heritage.
