The Magoki-Attori Mosque, also known as the “Pit of Blankets,” is a historic mosque built in 1637 and located in the heart of Bukhara. It is situated near the Trade Dome of Telpak-Furushon and is one of the two “underground” (magoki) mosques in Bukhara. The ground floor of the mosque is partially hidden underground by cultural layers. The second part of the name, “kurpa” (Tajik: кӯрпа – blanket), is associated with the name of the district where the mosque is located.

Architecturally, the Magoki-Attori Mosque is a two-story building with a dome structure. Interestingly, this mosque has domes on both the first and second floors. On the first floor, the domes are supported by pilasters, while the domes on the second floor rest on four columns of octagonal shape.
