Lake Jashyl-Kol, translated as “green lake” from Kyrgyz, is located in the Chon-Kemin valley at an altitude of 3200 meters. The lake reflects the sunlight, and its water shines like an emerald. From a distance, it appears green, but in reality, the water is crystal clear. Surrounding the lake are high mountains and dense coniferous forests.
