Lake Urungach – DWC

“Lake Urungach, exquisite in its beauty, is located 160 kilometers from Tashkent, within the boundaries of the Ugam-Chatkal National Park, at an altitude of 1227 meters above sea level.

The most remarkable time to visit the jade lake is from May 15 to June 25 when the lake fills up with water to the brim.

One of the main features of Lake Urungach is its water, tinted in a rich jade shade. In spring, beautiful snowdrops bloom around the lake, adding extra scenic beauty to these places. In summer, the water temperature allows for swimming and sunbathing on the shore.

For a comfortable journey to these places, it is recommended to use jeep rental services in Bishkek.
