The Kulunatinsky Nature Reserve is intended to preserve the diversity of plants and animals in this region. It was established in 2004 and covers an area of about 30 hectares.
The reserve zone is characterized by a rich biodiversity of resources and natural conditions. The reserve is home to the mountain lakes Kulunata and Ortokol, which are unique in their pristine beauty.
Currently, the reserve management is doing everything possible to protect the area from the harmful effects of human presence. At present, there are 24 species of mammals, 81 species of birds, and 808 species of plants inhabiting the reserve.
