Jeep tours from the “Tourist Company Bishkek” provide a unique opportunity for travelers to explore historical sites in the Old City of Uzbekistan, including the Kukeldash Madrasa, which was built in 1570 during the Shaybanid dynasty. The construction of the madrasa was supervised by viziers Barak-khan and Dervish-khan, who, due to their closeness to the rulers, became known as “Kukeldash” (milk brothers).

Today, the Kukeldash Madrasa has been completely restored and accommodates over a hundred students annually. The building features cozy classrooms, an extensive library, a sports hall, a dining hall, and a dormitory for students. Additionally, a specially equipped room is designated for calligraphy lessons.

The duration of the educational process is 4 years. Upon completion of their studies, graduates of the madrasa may be appointed to various mosques in Uzbekistan and also have the opportunity to continue their education in the country’s higher education institutions.
