The Kairak waterfall, majestic among the seven waterfalls adorning the Turgen Gorge in the Almaty region, impresses with its magnificence. The height of this natural wonder reaches about 55 meters, and the path to it represents an exciting adventure.

You will be surrounded by Chinturgensky mossy fir trees, their needles almost entirely covered with moss, creating an amazing atmosphere. The waterfall is surrounded by steep rocky slopes densely covered with forest and rocky walls. The name “Kairak” is not accidental; it translates from Kazakh as “grinder,” and indeed, the waterfall seems to have carved its way through this gorge.

On the way to the waterfall, in the middle part of the lower cascade, there is a wooden staircase that is sprayed with water dust. However, one should be careful, as the steps of the staircase are always wet and can pose a danger to tourists. The Kairak waterfall is a natural wonder worth visiting to enjoy its beauty and unique atmosphere along with the DWC tour company.
