Jailoo Sarala-Saz is a high-mountain pasture located 54 km northwest of the village of Kochkor. The name, when translated literally from Kyrgyz, means “yellowish swamp”. The pasture got this name because of the yellow color of the grass and the absence of trees and shrubs.
Near the pasture, there are places worth paying attention to. These are ancient mounds dating back to the I-V centuries, petroglyphs on stones, and a waterfall. It is hidden among the rocks and is therefore called “Find me”. It’s not so easy to find, even if you are standing nearby and hear its noise. Here, an annual festival of national games is also held.
Our company can organize jeep tours to the most interesting places in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
