The Green Palace, also known as Kuk Saray, is the active state residence of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This complex of buildings is located on a vast green area just a few kilometers northeast of the Mirzo Ulugbek district in Tashkent, in the village of Durmen (or Durman), which is in the Kibray district of the Tashkent region.

The name “Kuk Saray” translates from the Turkic language as “Blue Palace” and is named after the palace of Amir Timur (Tamerlane), which unfortunately did not survive to this day and was located in his capital, Samarkand, which is now part of Uzbekistan.

It is one of the most guarded and protected places in Uzbekistan, with constant round-the-clock security.
DWC travel company invites you to explore and learn more about Kuk Saray, where the modern history and culture of Uzbekistan blend with rich heritage.
