“The Irkeshtam Pass separates China and Kyrgyzstan and is located 238 km east of the city of Osh at an altitude of 2841 meters. The local road is the shortest route from the Fergana Valley to China.

The pass is home to a border crossing point through which tourists and cargo pass. The road is difficult, gravelly, and passage requires driving at a slow speed. However, this provides an opportunity to enjoy the surrounding landscapes: mountains on one side and meadows on the other. Crossing the border is possible with a valid Chinese visa; otherwise, a border pass is required.

DWC company organizes jeep tours not only throughout Kyrgyzstan but also in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
