The Botanical Garden, opened in 1933, is a true natural artifact. Initially, the plants were divided into zones representing different corners of the world: Europe, Siberia, East and Central Asia, the Mediterranean, and North America. Currently, it is home to more than 4,500 species of trees and shrubs from various parts of the planet. Palms coexist here with sequoias, while lilacs mingle with magnolias and many others. Some of these species are on the brink of extinction and are listed in the Red Book.
The park also includes two small ponds, cozy gazebos, and elegant sculptural compositions.
Walking along the winding paths of the park, one can spend a whole day surrounded by natural beauty. The Botanical Garden attracts visitors of all ages, from children to elderly couples, and has become an integral part of urban culture and leisure.
