A tourist company from Bishkek invites you to an exciting adventure into the world of art and culture. Rent jeeps in Bishkek and embark on a journey to the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Opera and Ballet named after Alisher Navoi.
The history of this unique theater began back in 1929 when enthusiasts of concert-ethnographic ensemble, under the guidance of Mukhitdin Kari-Yakubov, organized a professional theater. The theater building was erected on the site of the former Resurrection Bazaar according to the project of A.V. Shchusev, who was also responsible for the creation of iconic structures such as Lenin’s Mausoleum, Kazansky Railway Station, Komsomolskaya-Koltsevaya metro station, and the Hotel “Moscow”.
The theater is surrounded by a picturesque park with flower beds, greenery, decorative trees, and a fountain pond reminiscent of Uzbek courtyards. The architectural decoration of the first-floor foyer is adorned with a painting depicting the four muses — symbols of dance, poetry, painting, and architecture. In the main foyer of the second floor, there are picturesque panels inspired by the works of Alisher Navoi.
Our company can organize jeep tours to the most interesting places in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
