Bayankol Gorge is a very green and beautiful area, reachable by a 6-hour drive from Almaty. It is overlooked by five mountain peaks exceeding 5000 meters, which are lesser-known among tourists.

These peaks include Peak Kazakhstan (5741 m), Peak Bayankol (5841 m), Peak Semenova (5816 m), Peak Karlytau (5450 m), Peak Pogranichnik (5258 m), Peak Odinnadtsati (5437 m), and one of the most stunning peaks of the Tien Shan – Marble Wall (6400 m).

On sunny days, you can see the Marble Wall peak and Khan Tengri, which rises above the others.
