The Ak-Mosque Cave, also known as the White Mosque, is a natural wonder, a temple created by nature. This area has long been considered sacred, exuding a unique atmosphere and climate. There is no recorded history of this place. It is believed that it formed after the fall of a meteorite, and the rocks forming the cave date back to the Chalcolithic period. Today, the cave holds a significant place in the list of the largest caves in Central Asia.
It measures 150 meters in length and 65 meters in width. Inside, there is an interesting acoustic phenomenon – you can speak loudly in one part, and nobody will hear you in another. The cave is softly lit, with occasional water dripping. It remains warm in winter and cool in summer, despite the absence of trees outside. Inside, there is even a garden with its own ecosystem, all at a depth of 20 meters.
During visits to the cave, people make wishes, either by placing a stone in a pyramid or tying a white scarf on a tree. They pray for the birth of children and healing from illnesses.
DWC company organizes jeep tours not only throughout Kyrgyzstan but also through Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
