The Memorial Complex of National Unity of Tajikistan is situated on the central square of Friendship in Dushanbe. This square also became home to the monument of Ismail Samani, the emir from the Samanid dynasty, who was the founder of the first Tajik state.

The Ismail Samani Monument is a symbol of the city and one of its main landmarks. This monument was erected in 1997 and stands at a height of 13 meters. Interestingly, as elements of this memorial complex, both the monument and the arch were crafted in Russia.

In honor of the founder of the Tajikistan state, the Order of Ismaili Samani was established, and a banknote featuring his image was issued. His name is immortalized in the names of administrative districts, urban settlements, squares, parks, and streets in cities and towns across Tajikistan. The DWC tour company invites you to explore this symbolically significant complex and learn more about the rich history of the country.
