The Abshir-Ata waterfall is located in the Abshir-Sai valley, 70 km from the city of Osh. The valley is situated at an altitude of 2500 meters. To reach the waterfall, you need to walk about 3 km from the mouth of the river flowing along the valley floor. This journey is worth it to witness the astonishing sight – a powerful stream of water cascades 15 meters from a hole in the rock.

The water is potable, with a low amount of mineral salts. Some consider it holy, so there are always people willing to drink from it and take some with them. According to legend, a mysterious wanderer passed by and struck the rock with his staff.

DWC company organizes jeep tours not only throughout Kyrgyzstan but also in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
